Abstract

The influence of six vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizal (VAM) fungi on the growth of Tectona grandis individually as well as in combinations with Azospirillum sp. was tested. Inoculation of VAM fungi or Azospirillum sp. increased the growth, biomass, root colonization, tissue N, P and K concentration. Significant response were observed in Gigaspora margarita or Glomus versiforme inoculation in conjunction with Azospirillum sp.
