Pachygone laurifolia (Menispermaceae): A tree species new to the flora of Odisha, India

Abstract

Pachygone laurifolia (DC.) L.Lian & Wei Wang (Menispermaceae), a rare tree species, is reported here as a new record for the flora of Odisha from Deomali hills of Koraput district. Brief information on the nomenclature, botanical description, phenology, ecology, distribution, and use values is documented, along with relevant photographic support.
