Abstract

A treatment of dipping seeds in Rhizobium biofertilizer slurry for 24 hours and then sowing increased germination of Dalbergia sissoo to 78% as against 50% in control. This treatment not only increased shoot height of three week old seedlings to 4.5 cm but also root length to 5.0 cm as against 2.8 cm each in control. The total length of seedling was almost double as compared to control.
