Climatic and Topographic influences on net primary production under grazed and ungrazed conditions in an Alpine Grazingland of Garhwal Himalaya

Abstract

Effects of different meteorological measurements on NPP were observed in an alpine grazingland of Garhwal Himalaya under grazed and ungrazed treatments with varying topographic conditions. Precipitation showed strong correlation with net primary production and so did the atmospheric temperature, soil moisture and soil temperature, respectively.
