Abstract

Jacaranda cuspidifolia Mart. belonging to the famil Bignoniaceae, has been introduced from Brazil (South America) for the first time in India in the Botanic Garden at NBRI, Lucknow. It is catching attraction of the landscapists and connoisseurs due to its beautiful leaves and blue-violet flowers.
