Abstract

An experiment was conducted to study the effect of four nitrogen levels, N2, N40, N80, and N120 kg N/ha. and four spacings 10 x 10 cm, 15 x 10 cm, 15 x 15 cm, and 20 x 15 cm on growth of Acer oblongum seedlings. An application of 80 kg N/ha. with 20 x 20 cm spacing combination produced good results giving quality and vigorous seedlings suitable for planting in sub-temperate conditions.
