Abstract

Siwalik Hill ranges, in north-eastern Haryana, are nestled in lower Himalayan range and constitute the most diverse region of the state in terms of plant diversity. This part adds significant Himalayan features to the state flora and it is important to record and document the plant wealth of the area, through repeated field surveys of the region. This article presents two hitherto unknown species of Campanulaceae in flora of Haryana, viz., Lobelia heyneana and Wahlenbergia erecta collected from surroundings of Morni hills.
