Abstract

From the natural sal regeneration areas of Dehra Dun, community analysis for parasitic nematodes was worked upon. The needle nematode, Paralongidorus Sali topped in almost all the parameters of community analysis and thus is rated as the most important of all nematode species encountered. The nematode fauna of New Forest and Lachhiwala localities was found to be almost similar which was in contrast to those of Raipur and Rajpur localities.
