Abstract

Initially the egg and larval population of teak defoliator, Hyblaea puera Cram. Were high at the top portion and subsequently it increased at the lower portion, because of defoliation at the top. Among the three heights, viz., top, middle and bottom, high parasitisation by Trichogramma chilonis Ishii was observed in bottom throughout the period of investigation.
